How to measure: Measure around the fullest part of your baby’s head, just above the eyebrows and ears, keeping the tape comfortably snug. Our artisan bonnets feature soft, adjustable silk and cotton ribbon ties to provide flexible adjustment around the crown and chin.

- 100% Breathable Cotton Linings: Every Hanakimi dress, gown, and bonnet is lined with ultra-soft, 100% hypoallergenic natural combed cotton to ensure gentle comfort against tender infant skin.
- Handcrafted French Lace & Embroidered Tulle: Hand Wash Only in cool water (under 30°C / 86°F) using gentle baby-safe liquid detergent. Do not soak, bleach, or wring. Lay flat to dry naturally in shade.
- Vintage Velvet, Capes & Silks: Gentle hand spot clean or professional delicate dry cleaning. Use a handheld garment steamer from 6 inches away to restore volume; never iron directly onto velvet pile or fine embroidery.
- Archival Heirloom Preservation: After the ceremony, ensure the garment is thoroughly clean and completely dry. Wrap in acid-free tissue paper and store in a cool, dark keepsake box to preserve lace fibers and prevent discoloration over generations.
